I was quite surprised to see that come up on the morning of a match. Couldn't have helped. Surely they got their timing wrong with this announcement.

 

Centre-half Olly Schulz feels that he can better further his career elsewhere, so the Club have agreed he can be made available for immediate transfer or loan.

 

22 year-old Olly joind the Rams at 17, and has been a fans' favourite ever since. He is course under contract and should not be approached direct.

Ollie has been on the transfer list all season. He has been to Stevenage for trials and he has been offered to any club higher in the pyramid than Ramsgate. The announcement is to say he is available to any club now he just wants to move on.

I was merely pointing out the "bad timing" of this particular "official" announcement on your/their website on the morning of a match. Could they not have waited till today?.

Anyway,whether it had an effect on the teams performance yesterday or not we will never know.

However the result did end up as Ramsgate 1 Harrow 3.Coincidence or not.Maybe,maybe not!

Don't think the result would have been any different but we will never know. The facts are Ollie has been involved with less than 50% of the Ramsgate games this season and it has'nt affected them before. If ollie is making it quite clear he doent want to be a Ramsgate it must be causing unrest in the changing rooms so better for the good of the rest to let him go and move on. The Ramsgate way is to work hard for each other and the club,that goes right through the club even in my under 14s.
