Tonights Thurrock v Havant match was arranged especially so that two players could serve suspensions before Saturday's big FA Cup game at Anfield.

After 24 minutes the floodlights failed and the game was abandoned.

That has to be the hard luck story of the season unless there is some sort of appeal.

Good luck to H & W for their big day anyway from everyone involved in Non-League Football

THE FA had already said today that Justin Gregory wouldn't be allowed to play against Liverpool even if he did play tonight (in fact they then said he couldn't play tonight either!).

 

I wasn't aware there were two players in the same boat though. Only one seems to have been mentioned in the media.
