If you dangle your rod with an artificial juicy wriggly worm to bait a hungry fish and it has a nibble, then that is a bite

If however, you cast your line with straight live bait and recieve a nibble that is true, then that is not a bite.

A reel (UU for example). From his reel he casts his line, gets his bite and puts his hungry biters into his keep net. He'll let them swim away knowing they'll return.

A biter (you probably dont know who you are) will react to that juicy bait. No matter how many times the hook has pierced them they think they'll drag the rod and reel down........
