keep cool urchins.....real cool...

right then.....I've had me coffee and me bacon sarnie and had a good think about last night.....

now then.....we were poor....no doubt about that.....but.....we came up against a very well organised defensively minded team who...in fairness to them....made things very ...very difficult for us...we had several chances but they hit the bar when scoring was easier...big let off that one...... in hindsight...and on balance....perhaps we should be pleased with the point.....

but....look at the last six games....4 wins....2 draws....never looked like losing and scoring goals as well.......even if we lose on saturday....promotion is still in our hands.....

apart from Slough...goal difference is in our hands and we can overhaul them as well with one good win....

so...lets keep cool...keep behind the team and I guarantee there will be a lot more excitement before the seasons out.....think positively...another game gone and another point towards promotion....

85 or 86 will do it......12 more points from six games......two wins on the trot and its 6 from 4 games......

lets all get to wingate on saturday and cheer these boys onwards.....coach leaves at 12.30.....

I thought we just went about it wrong last night, when Lockie came on and we got the ball down and started playing football suddenly we looked dangerous and should have scored. We resorted to the long ball for far too much of the game in my opinion. What with the two boys upfront and Benno and Gav McGowan tending to come wide (as they should do) we totally lacked in the centre of the park. True they made it hard for us, but we didn't help ourselves. Like I said though we looked much better when we finally started playing, had we gone about it like that from the start we'd have easily won! Start on Saturday where we left of last night and I reckon we will be back to winning ways again!

I'm certain we'll be back to winning ways. Its so annoying when you know how good we can play and for the last 20 or so mins last night we finally started to turn it on. The prior hour and a bit we were poor, really poor. OK, I know they defended well, but they aren't a good side, 12 points at home all season tells you that.

Anyway, Saturday, how about getting the ball down, keeping it down, getting it wide to Gav, Benno, Kimble, etc and getting some crosses in. Vinny is looking a class act, you get the quality balls to the bloke and he will score for fun!

When all is said and done, this Urchins lark is compulsive viewing, guess I'll be dragging myself Up North (London) Saturday. See you all there!

Well done the Urchins today 1-0 another 3 pts and Slough and Uxbridge drew too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hemel are the big threat at the moment.

It certainly appears that its moving towards a two horse race between us and Hemel. Might be a little too soon to write off the chances of Uxbridge and Slough, but their result today did neither of them any favours. I wonder if things will be any clearer after the Easter weekend, us at home to Wembley and away to Wivenhoe, whilst Hemel travel to Marlow and play Berkhamsted at home. You'd have to fancy our chances better than Hemels games, but who can ever tell!

I very much hope for my nerves that it's sorted before then but did you notice HH's last game this season will be against Northwood.

Come on the 'chins.

Yeah I saw that, I think that next weekends games are key for us, two wins would set us up nicely. Looking at our games after that, Berkhamsted at home then Marlow and Gt. Wakering away, these aren't going to be easy. Berkhamsted are right up there, although almost certainly out of contention as far as promotion goes, we all remember what Marlow did to us at home and Wakering seem to be in a good run of form at the moment.
