Hello All, this is my first post on here in many ways, one being a "myfc" memeber and one being a Burton fan.

 

I shall be coming over this saturday from Brussels to watch the game and would like an opportunity to meet regulars and have a good old natter (not used that word in a while)

 

Where is the best place, do most still go into the social inside the ground, or is this not premitted for away fans now (i remember a couple of seasons ago it was ok).

There aren't any away fans officially allowed in the bar but if you aren't wearing a Burton shirt or your old Billy Brewer outfit I doubt anyone will stop you going inside.

 

If you don't fancy taking a chance then the Plough has a selection of away, home and "internet based" fans nowadays.

Bring a few case of De Konick for our bar. Would make a change from the Spitfire.

 

Oh & Hooky says can you bring his spare Capn Hook outfit. Should be easy to find - says your wife stuffed it under the bed, in a hurry for some reason.

 

Something apart from a bleep test contest at half time, perhaps.

Never had a De Konick, but it is local to Antwerp and i have tried to avoid going there.

 

There are better ones, both in taste and ABV than that.

 

Last time i came to meet Hooky, he never actually showed up, maybe he really did lose his outfit then..........i thought it was just an excuse.
