Where do I start!

Had loads of chances first half and they go ahead with their only real chance of the half.

On top again in the second and a coming together earned their 9 a second yellow card.

To great late goals from Will and Seeds realy proved how far we have come in the last few weeks.

Also, well done to John Steele who played in goal. John joined us from Yeovil for todays game as Seb Brown has been recalled to Brentford and Sam Richards was away with work.

Well done W & E !

I heard this morning that the pitch was a touch on the boggy side !

Was really surprised the game was on but fair play to BRIDGWATER (Mal take notice of the spelling!) the pitch was in a reasonable condition considering the weather of the past week or so.

A couple of months ago we would have lost this game without doubt.

We dominated possession in the 1st half without really looking threatening; Porter had the best chance but sliced alarmingly wide narrowly missing the tea hut! They scored with their only real effort on goal of the whole half, in fact it may have been their only effort all game. That’s not to say our keeper didn't have a good game, he commanded the area well and came off his line when necessary.

The first 20 mins or so of the 2nd half was a bit of a non event, again we had the better of the possession but the final ball was poor. The game didn't come to life until midway through the half, The BRIDGWATER no5 went through the back of Seedel who took exception to this, anyway in the ensuing melee Seeds got booked and their no9 got sent off.

Despite having even more possession than previously and being camped in their half it still didn't look like we would score, until we won a corner with a few minutes to go and for the first time all game we actually put a decent ball into the box from which Will powered a header into the roof of the net. The winning goal was vintage Chennels, he chased down a long cross field pass, outpaced the fall back to the ball, shrugged off the challenge and showed great composure to draw the keeper out of goal and square the ball to Seeds who blasted home to send the small band of travelling fans wild.

Overall a decent display considering the conditions and BRIDGWATER are one of the better teams in the league.

I thought Jake Parsons was excellent in centre midfield and the front 2 kept battling all game. Defensively we looked a lot stronger than recent weeks even if we did concede from another free header.
