Bitch
Where's my new friend Gordon? I cant find him and reading the Cheshunt forum they cant either! They are a bit 'orrible on there
Soppy_Lemon
Thats Cheshunt folk for you young lady. They don't realise theyve been treading water for 4 years and that their true level is in South Mids. As regards Gordon he is a total football genius and given time he'll do the business. Rhodes
Soppy Lemon - Is that really what you think hand on heart, my view is the exact opposite
Soppy_Lemon
Football is a game of many variables, and there is no right way or wrong way to succeed. Some might say that Mr. Boateng's style is a little direct but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If the Cheshunt board somehow do the unthinkable and release him, I would expect him to be back at the Brimmobeu post haste. Not as manager of the mighty Rovers, but in the chair at our squatters. He couldnt be bothered to watch Glenn "Fans favourite" Parry get another red card. 3. He woke up late and missed t'coach. 4. He stayed at home with Albury Walker. 5. He watched the Ressies. 6. He was re writing his profile for the website so it reads as though he has done ok, bringing in players we could never get before, giving debuts to 123 players, and generally making sure his PR is up to date in case any big jobs come up. Well Wader sure kept this post quiet on the Cheshunt Forum about his friend, it appears that he went AWOL for their game last week and it sounds very unlikely that he will be at Theobalds Lane for much longer, he's certainly not Mr Popular that's for sure. Rhodes
Folks - In the light of the above post by Samson I would like to amend my bet that Gordon will not be at Theobalds Lane by 1 June as opposed to the start of next season, ie Saturday 9 August, are there any takers. Rhodes
Folks - I have to say that Gordon Boateng has gone up a lot in my estimation following last nights extravaganza at Theobalds Lane. I was in the Boardroom minding my own business when Gordon made a bee line for me with an outstretched hand, he even seemed to know my name. Also fair play to Cheshunt for putting on a spread fit for a king last night, if that's what they do for Reserve games I'm beginning to see why Gordon was keen to go there although sadly it all seems to have gone pear shaped for him. Rhodes
Many congratualtions to Gordon for his fine win against Ware on Wednesday, hopefully it will save his job at Theobalds Lane: http://www.herald24.co.uk/content/herald/CheshuntFC/default.aspx

Rhodes
The obvious is that they are both the same colour but that's all they have in common as far as I can see. We have never really forgiven Gordon for not shaking 'the great one's' hand on 14 October 2006 following the titanic encounter between Brimsdown Rovers and Kentish Town however we are prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope that he can hang onto his job at Theobalds Lane.
