concord made hard work of things against a very poor shawbury team, crowd about 250,rob errington was present with about 30 ponces from the essex FA, who had to have reserved seats of course, who the feck are this ponces? funny that you never see them at 'run of the mill' matches but come the big occasions up they pop.

London Apsa-Hullbridge 1-1 Apsa scored on 85th minutes against the run of play and returned to life Chay Spreadborough scored on 88th minutes with a great 25 yds left footed lob.A very youthful Hullbridge side dominated the game, had a valid Daniel Barrington goal disallowed by an uncertain referee on 75th minutes, hit the crossbar with Lewis Manor and spurned 3 great one on one chances to win the game comfortably.Overall, very pleased with the performance from the players that played today and i would only say something to the referee assessors..a little advice...don't tell that poor lad that you're turning up :)This young referee who i rate very highly and was top notch refereeing our cup match away to Mauritious(he gave a penalty against us in that game),didn't perform as well as at Aveley and i believe the reason was he knew he was being assessed.Let these good young referees be themselves and just assess without telling them.Having said he didn't get much help from the linesmen but good luck to him because he's a very good referee and deserve to referee higher than step 5.So no rant and i'm an happy chap because we have some tremendous lads in our Hullbridge side. grin

Richard, saturday is such a busy day for Coachie and started at 5.15 a.m...finished my walk at 10.25 a.m,got back home,a quick shower, left at 11.25 a.m,picked our Simon Royce, got to Hullbridge at 11.55 A.M,loaded kit, water bottles, footballs, cones, valuable bag, warm up tops, subs track-suits,etc,etc onto Coachie super car and left at 12.20 for Terence Mc Millan Stadium. On the way back,i stopped at Hullbridge to drop the kit,had a quick drink at the "touchline bar" and got back home at 7.15 pm ready for a nice home cooked italian meal. crazy[****!!****] litterally! As you can see i haven't got a kit man,a chairman that drops you the footballs and cones, a budget,a generous club benefactor and we do our best...where we are, with who we have got and we do that with love and passion. smile

alright coachie stop portraying yourself as a martyr,i was up early myself at half ten this morning but thats a sacrifice im prepared to make as a supporter.yes coachie people like you are the liveblood of non league football but lets be honest you do it because you enjoy it.all the best to hullbridge a decent, friendly club and im not going to re open old sores but it did anger me certain comments made in the concord programme about your club, apparentely when you drew with them you celebrated 'like you had just won the FA cup' and the match went ahead despite your best attempts to get it abandoned,
