MFC vs CAFC full match commentary .....

Speedy recovery to Luke and DS, but on today's second half performance, RT will have some interesting choices to make. Carshalton very good on the ground today, especially in the first half, and we more than matched them in the second - without doubt the way to do it. The real difference in the end though was the two keepers - SCS magnificent, theirs (also double-barrelled if I remember right)....well, not so good!

Here's hoping Luke makes a full recovery as soon as possible.

2nd half performance today was fantastic. First half was frustrating and thanks to SCS we were able to stay in the game, but Rob's equaliser came at the perfect time. Plenty of options now available to RT in terms of line-up. Lots of competition for places. Hope Peters transfer goes through quick, maybe in time for Tuesday? McKimm today, I thought was excellent.

Thank goodness for the result-and we did not play badly either, but having said that on chances, we did not deserve to win-could easily have lost 6-4-as others say-thank godness for SCS today-played a blinder.

(luck evens out as we did not deserve to lost to Horsham )

What on earth is Robin going to do to sort out the defence-although in fairness apart from an error costing the first goal and poor defending at the second from the free kick;the defence was left exposed by us being ripped apart through the middle of midfiled-although thereagain-both McKImm and Morris-fantastic saving tackle in first half and must be our hardest working player- had pretty good games.

Only cure to me is to play 3 central midfielders and just Martin roaming out wide from wing to wing.

No-one had a poor game-and as he is normally so good, its only fair to say that Jay must have had his worst game ever today-3 howlers in 5 first half minutes-recovered to play ok though.

I thought Goodfellow was shaky in first half but decent second half, and although his goal was eventually a tap in, he deserved it as for once-here was a player attacking the ball from a corner as opposed to standing static waiting for ball to come to you.

Although only on for 30 minutes-i thought Josephs again ooozed class-really think he is an excellent player, and all in all the defence can only get better ? - surely please.

It is getting silly when you know every game we will minimally concede 2 goals so have to score at least 3-lets leave kamikaze football to Keegan and just not concede any-a boring 0-0 draw at Boreham Wood will be just fine.

Really wierd game as we were ripped apart on quite a few occasions but most players played quite well, and a win is a win is a win so great.

(who is our trainer these days-have we got one ?

Steve

The incident happened when the hornchurch ballboy threw the ball back to the number 11, ramsgate player. The Ramsgate player decided to spit at the ballboy. It was seen by quite a few people at Hornchurch, who are not happy by the actions of the Ramsgate player.

The one on the pitch was the usual handbags, scuffle, one team not getting their way. Just to clear that up!!
