STFC vs FFC - Game Postponed - Waterlogged Pitch

We have called in a local referee to inspect the pitch this morning due to the continued light rain. The clubhouse goalmouth is boggy, which is the main area of concern.

 

I will post an update on here once we have spoken with the referee in about 35 minutes.

Newport IOW v Bracknell is off.

 

Also off are Paulton v Gosport and AFC Hayes v Abingdon United.

As are we. Standing water on the pitch and a forecast for continual rain means our game has been postponed.

Damn, doubt that we will get an attendance near to what we could have got today on a Tuesday night. Oh well the Beaconsfield pitch has held up pretty well so far this season so one game isnt bad!

Shame this, I was hopeful the pitch would stand up to it. There's never a good time to play Farnborough, but they would have brought a few today, so very disappointing.

having spending most of the morning down at Beaconsfield , the pitch looked good except for the goal mouths , however with the rain continued falling a decision was made that it would just get worse, if the rain had stopped at 11 we would have a good chance but it was not to be today ! shame for everyone....
