...thank fck that’s over with, relocation back to gods own county is now complete, so I can get back to all things football.

It’s been awfully quiet on here of late, I see that two of the players we were interested in, Harrows Albert, and Hendon’s Wayne have both got themselves good moves up the pyramid, and now that we have signed the exciting 19 yr old Billy Bricknel, Jamie Richards has moved to Hx.

Apparently there was a piece in the local paper stating that we might have a new ground in the pipeline, something to do with a 500 home development project a few hundred yards away along the Tye Common Road..

This is the first Saturday for weeks that I can definitely make the game and it looks as if it will be rained off. mad

Yes possibly all bunkum!!

I'm not familiar with the land ownership round the club, but who does have rights etc, I would presume there are some lease agreements in place etc if not owned outright.

Missed that article. Out of interest, would the Football Club have been asked if it wanted a new home, before having one included in the Golf Clubs submission?

Maybe...maybe not...Considering that the article does say that there has been no planning permission made for ANYTHING it's just that the land has been deemed for development, would indicate that any kind of development is years away...

Anyway, I'm sure the club would've announced something if it were true.

Just local press filling a paragrapg or two
