Histon pitch inspection / Sam Chambers

If you're travelling to the luxurious Glassworld, be aware there will be a pitch inspection at Histon tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10am.

 

Also, for those that remember Sam Chambers' days at the Fleet, some sad news...

Histon website says they will have the info on there at 11pm.

 

I had an email reply from Histon, reads,

 

"currently the pitch is very wet which means if we receive a lot of rain between now and 10.00am the game will be in doubt."

Really can't see it being on tomorrow. Just biked past the pitch now and it had minor standing water near the centre circle. The wind may help, but for the game to be on there would need to be very little rain over night.
