Disabled Weather covering ?

Is there any chance of having some temporary rain covering put up in the wheelchair area for Saturday ?

 

It would be a pity if the match sponsor couldn't come to the game due to the weather.

What about a tarp in between the dug-outs with some concrete slabs on the dug-outs to hold it down?

We do need to get some temporary covering sorted as this seems a regular occurance now and we will probably be at Beaconsfield for at least a couple more seasons.

I would like to say that the disabled cover has been sorted out along with the cover behind the goal at the far end and Roy has everything in hand - however if I said that I would only get in trouble - so I wont say it!

SR, the question was regarding a temporary cover, not the permanent one, which I know is in the pipeline

I agree with your issue of covering and as I stated in a previous post the Clubs have a duty under the disability discrimination regs to have "equal" facilities available to all - this issue is not new and the regs have been around for a number of years now so the clubs need to get their acts together pronto!

But the way i see it Staines, we are the club so we have to come up with solutions - temporary or otherwise.

Is this the same management who want to build a whole new ground?

gary ; clive ..we were promised that wilko would sort this out for us, but he never got round to doing this...apologies.

 

Does anyone know who can help us at no charge ?

 

I know that Alan Harding looked over the enclosure between the dug outs , with the president of Beconsfield i will see what has been decided...see if i can let you know tomorrow..

The supporters run the turnstiles, do the programme sales, sell raffle tickets, sponsor games and generally help get the game organised. Surely asking for some help putting a temporary disabled structure up is the same thing no?
