There's a 25 year deal with Fleet Leisure to use the training ground, costing £48000 per year, incrementing at the rate of RPI on £8000 of that amount per year.

That lasts for 13 years then the rent goes down by £40k per year, so will quickly be nil, or peppercorn.

There's a 3-year deal with development as consultants to sort a new stadium, @ £135 per hour, capped at £40k per year.

In essence, the class A and B shares relate to the business of the football club itself, and the Class C shares allow the holders of those shares to control the Leisure and Developments subsidiaries, and to receive dividends from those subsidiaries. The A and B shares carry slightly different rights - the B shareholders (ie. the current shareholders of the Club) have the right to control certain decisions which would impact on them, but otherwise the A shareholders (ie. the Society) will control the appointment of the A directors (who will have all requisite powers) and voting at shareholder's meetings, and the control rights that the A shareholders have are such that the Myfootballclub model will be able to operate effectively."

It's the Class A shares that you want to steer clear of Alan. If these are found in your possession then you face Jail.

Coldplayer, who needs cheering up? I'm perfectly happy. The guy in the first picture is holding 'Bully'.

We won bully at a service station on the way to Wembley so we decided to put him in every shot.

The cheerleader thought bully was cute!

Yes, I res all that. I was just wondering if it was set in stone, or an 'option'

I do think that MyFC have done well it attracting over 3,000 new members SINCE the announcement that Fleet would be the club. Long may the adage regarding fools and their money ring true!

with the amount of rule changing and spin around at the moment pat one could be forgiven for thinking that they were not all new members signing up...accumulation of more than one share by individuals using nominee accounts...surely not..even I refuse to believe that...!! grin

I believe it to be over 7,000 since the announcement in November. Unless you mean since yesterday?

HJA - If you look on the MyFC homepage, it lists their latest members - and the times they joined.

And I thought it was 23k in Nov, and upto 27k now - but could be wrong on that
