Never been disucssed has it Portfan, then why has this been posted on the Non-League Digest by Steve Crane:-

'Newport IOW met on Tuesday to discuss, amongst other things, resigning from the Southern League at the end of the season as it seems probable that they will finish bottom of their division anyway but with there often being a close season reprieve they were thinking of ensuring that they go down this season. Apparently there was no danger of a mid season resignation.

At Tuesday's Meeting however, it was decided not to resign from the SL and to try and escape relegation if at all possible.

paulton are looking to pull out of this league due to alck of money and travilling cost and rumours flying round wordsworth drive that we are two

 

and the western league (league below us ) are changing to only 1 divsion instead of 2 beacuse all the bristol teams are going back to the bristol senior league !!!!
