Seems a long way off, but in the abscence of a game last saturday to discuss, thought i'd offer this for discussion.

Based on what is currently known about available players, injurie's etc. here's the team i'd go with.

SCs

Smith Saunders Goodfellow,Joseph

Side, Morris,McKimm, JJ

Pinnock, Haworth

subs:Bowles, Trott,Martin,Quain,Coleman

Bit worried about right flank,as Charlie is a striker and may not protect Smith much , but i think you have to play Side against his previous club and from what i read, he looked ok there in his last game.

A bit light of numbers in midfield which concerns me, but JJ will have to 'tuck in' to the centre a bit more.

For once, i reckon this is also the team that RT will go with

Bit of a selection dilemma for RT on the flanks with Coleman,Quain and Martin all on the bench-and thats before we see Yianni fit .Add in Moir and Axon and you could have a subs bench consisting of 5 'wide' players.Interesting.

I think you will find that 'The Gaffer' is suspended on Saturday. This means that he will not be allowed to be in the dugout as well so he could be coaching from the stand on Saturday. Justin will just have to continue with his touchline coaching for another week.

It's been raining quite heavily today. But theres also plenty of wind too.

Whatever the weather we get in the meantime Fridays weather is probably the key.

With a better drainage system in place now chances of playing have improved a lot.

Unlike last season, water laying on top goes away pretty quickly now,& given a good 18-24 hours,(before kick-off),of good drying weather, chances of playing improve considerably, though there are no guarantees.
