I also noticed earlier that we will be seeing Marcus Richardson next week as he played for Farnborough yesterday. Not sure how long he has been there after trawling around the League One and Two for years.

Just had a look on Forest's forum. Right miserable bunch of bleeders! Really negative about GM already without having seen him play, just because he's come out of non-league and doesn't have the best goalscoring record. He's not an out-and-out striker anyway. I'm hoping he does very well there and proves them wrong.

Yeah he was never a striker, he's been on the wing at bromley and has 9 goals so he can score them. Top boy wish him all the best

What do Forest fans know about football anyway?

9 goals from the wing is pretty good going. I think one of the biggest problems with G is finding his best position. He did a sterling job both on the wing and up front for us and I do think he can succeed in league football in either position but he would probably be at his absolutely best in an attacking free role but that is a luxury few teams can afford. It is a shame that he has gone from Bromley (rather than us) to a big club as I understand they get a friendly and a sell on clause as part of the deal but good luck to both him and Bromley.

 

Forest fans of a certain vintage know a hell of a lot about good football!!

Yeah Bromley have a friendly and agreed a sell on clause as part of the deal, although undisclosed is rumoured to be about £20k.

He could do that free role if a team could afford the luxury but if not on either wing cus thats his best posistion.
