Rhodes, you suggested a poll to decide this. It could go either way!

Vote before 6.00pm Monday!

bit of a quandry here as I think he's a vindictive sod (at times) but I think he should stay.

Shall I scrap that poll and make it a three way choice? (3rd category - He's an evil, vindictive sod, but he can stay!)

take out the word evil as I don't think he's that but yes that is a possibility. Or just a simple stay or go.

No, i think it would be pleasanter, if you want to make another option to say 'He's sometimes controversial and ruffles a few feathers, but should stay' smile

Sorry, Bitch, can't go that far! He is often controversial, ruffles a lot of feathers, and has a nasty, vindictive, snide, evil, streak in his makeup which he cannot keep under control!

bootyshake I've just voted - "stay"!! Just goes to show that the wording of these polls is so important - the "evil" bit has probably put people off voting against him!

Can I just say that I agree with Lato for once and I'm at a loss as to why Horace didn't do this in the first place, to say I am evil and vindictive is trying his utmost to influence a 'go' vote and he is clearly in cahoots with Football Man who didn't want to be seen to initiate the poll himself.
Anyway just to reiterate that if the vote is 'go' by 18.00 hours on Monday then I will, I can't say fairer than that and we won't need to wait for Ian's return

Rhodes, (a) I am NOT in cahoots with football man.
(B) Think about it - by wording the post as I have, I have actually ensured that fence sitters will come down on your side! (including ME!) I commend a book called "Management and Machiavelli, by Antony Jay, Hodder & Stoughton, to you - although it may be long out of print.

Yes but this was on the proviso of Ian making a decision which we don't know whether he will do as he has a history as long as your arm of ignoring PM's and burying his head in the sand, this way we can put the matter to bed once and for all tomorrow at 18.00, why aren't you in favour of that sensible option.

1) I saw no provisos in your PM to Ian that you made public. On the assumption that he still has access to the internet, if he hasn't made the alterations you requested by 6pm tomorrow, then the decision is made.
2) He presumably ignores your PMs because you send so many meaningless ones. Did you ever read the story of the boy who cried wolf?

There was still no excuse for Wader deleting the two historic and informative Haringey Borough threads without prior consultation, I think he later realised the error of his ways but it was after the Lord Mayor's show and the horse had already bolted.
