Horace
Rhodes, you suggested a poll to decide this. It could go either way! Vote before 6.00pm Monday!

Lato
bit of a quandry here as I think he's a vindictive sod (at times) but I think he should stay.

Lato
take out the word evil as I don't think he's that but yes that is a possibility. Or just a simple stay or go.

No, i think it would be pleasanter, if you want to make another option to say 'He's sometimes controversial and ruffles a few feathers, but should stay'
cantos
Of course he should stay he provides a service to the forum. If people are truely bothered by him then stop replying to him.
Horace
Sorry, Bitch, can't go that far! He is often controversial, ruffles a lot of feathers, and has a nasty, vindictive, snide, evil, streak in his makeup which he cannot keep under control! Bitch
We'll keep the poll as it is then
Horace
I've just voted - "stay"!! Just goes to show that the wording of these polls is so important - the "evil" bit has probably put people off voting against him!

Anyway just to reiterate that if the vote is 'go' by 18.00 hours on Monday then I will, I can't say fairer than that and we won't need to wait for Ian's return
Football Man
clip Rods has already publicly stated that he is leaving at 6pm on Monday if NF and Wader are still moderators (which they will be), so what's the point of a poll, regardless of how it's worded? ( Think about it - by wording the post as I have, I have actually ensured that fence sitters will come down on your side! (including ME!) I commend a book called "Management and Machiavelli, by Antony Jay, Hodder & Stoughton, to you - although it may be long out of print.

Yes but this was on the proviso of Ian making a decision which we don't know whether he will do as he has a history as long as your arm of ignoring PM's and burying his head in the sand, this way we can put the matter to bed once and for all tomorrow at 18.00, why aren't you in favour of that sensible option. ONE
I think he should have his own 'Rhodes Thread'...this would obviously mean he would only be allowed to post on his own thread and anyone wanting to read his posts or converse with him could do so on his own thread! On the assumption that he still has access to the internet, if he hasn't made the alterations you requested by 6pm tomorrow, then the decision is made. 2) He presumably ignores your PMs because you send so many meaningless ones. Did you ever read the story of the boy who cried wolf?
Jeff Hamnett TSF
one thing seems to have been forgotten : post tampering. wader has resolved the deleted thread issue, and confirmed he hasnt secretly edited posts. nf has changed posts. naughty boy nf, whats to be done? Rhodes
There was still no excuse for Wader deleting the two historic and informative Haringey Borough threads without prior consultation, I think he later realised the error of his ways but it was after the Lord Mayor's show and the horse had already bolted.
