was interested to see the concord players turn it on the other night for the visit of southend but i was puzzled to read some of their recent results in the matchday programme.after the match a couple of concord officials told me that they felt that certain players have been CHEATING the club by taking home big salaries while only 'turning it on' when they felt like it.how can a team with so much talent who should walk the ESL lose at home to southend manor and draw at 'joke' club hullbridge, apparentely a few of them are for the chop in the forthcoming weeks. again on wednesday i tried to pay for the programme only to be told there was no charge,on the pitch concord play the best football in the ESL but i dread to thing whats happening behind the scenes.i guess there will always be people who want to 'play the system', will we ever learn the truth behind smallsy's transfer? i guess not but maybe the next time the FA promise to 'clean up' the national game they should start with a visit down thames road first.

no i couldn't make it Richard but everytime i have been there this year they were ok and played some good stuff.I think football wise with Romford,they play the best football.I believe you'll always hear stories, rumours and you have to divide them by 4 and multiply by two, but joking aside,i believe the chairman,manager,coach and committee people work really hard to get things right.Obviously every team wants to beat you and being one of the favourites you have to put up with it.It is a well run footie club and i do really wish them to get promoted.Players at this level come and go and you have to find the ones that when the chips are down,wear their hearts on their sleeves.
