Bit worried by signs of discipline breaking down. All good fun in the classroom, but not out there on the pitch, you guys.

What I've seen:

Against Morecambe - Phil Handford & Justin Skinner having a running row about positioning, which ended with Phil saying in annoyed exasperation, "F**ck off Skins!"

Away at Kettering - The Duke & Macca the Magnicent squaring up to each other.

The Chester match - Phil Handford getting sent off for swearing either at the Chester bench or one of the officials (even by my standards, not acceptable; will he be fined?) Near the end Andy Ford & Mark Bentley having a prolonged and heated difference of opinion, ending in Fordy yelling "Shut up Benno!" across the pitch.

Also concerned by our total inability to adapt to changing circumstances. We did this really well last season (admittedly against inferior opposition) but yesterday's lack of imagination in the last 15 minutes was as excruciating as a retarded 1st graders creative writing. Why didn't we try either 1. getting behind them & whacking in hard crosses which could easily have ricocheted in off any of the many limbs (viz Villa Arsenal yesterday); or 2. running at them at speed, trying one twos & training ground triangles, before slipping in a pass?

Oh, well. Defeat at Leigh will be a disaster, but I'm still optimistic it won't happen.

I have never had any trouble with communication with players on the pitch......Some of you might remember a Carshalton player.....and i use that term losely.... spending a large portion of the match offering to meet me in the carpark after the match,

And for the record........he never turned up.........or so i was told at the fleets next home match
