Well, we just cant find this winning habbit at the moment you hear so much about! We did create chances is this game, with Richard G having the best chance which he failed to get on target. I dont think we really made their dodgey looking keeper work all afternoon.

Their number 11 caused us probs all day and was no surprise when it was himthat beat JJ with a low curling shot. At 1-0 down thought we had a chance and with stowe and Wallo coming on to give us two natural (!) strikers thought we maybe good for a draw. The big talking point came when JJ gave away a pen. Was it or wasnt it a pen? personally i think it was one of those ones where it looked clumsy and the ref was maybe swayed by their appeals, but a stronger ref may have waved play on. clearly JJ felt aggrieved as he was about to lose the plot, wasnt the best part of his season to throw the ball away and get booked and then carry on ranting.

As penny was fit, think i would have prefered to him in centre mid with henty over on the right where he always plays rather then out of position on the left. Not being horrible here but Lee Snowsil, he has had a dencent run in the first team but he just hasnt done anything. Hes not deaparately bad, just not really done anything.

A dissapointing day, plus point was the supporters gave a good account of themselves and the sarnies bedford gave us was a nice touch.

the team did their best...they weren't good enough....the present level of funding will clearly not be sufficient to keep us in this division next season...cheers for the beers to ryan and cheers to bedford for the sarnies...our supporters were different class and a credit to our club....roll on tuesday....cmon the blues!!!

Thought it was a little bit flat compared to Thursday - we only rarely looked like creating anything. Good to see Penn and Henty back in action - I would have probably played Penn at centre back myself though.... We missed Merritt and Alexander down the flanks, would probably have them back in the side for Tuesday. Thanks to Bedford for the sarnies and Ryan and GC for the bevvies, and well done to everybody who went - players, management and supporters.
