apart from deal is agreed with windsor.. but not signed... mr deaner is waiting until fans meeting but Ryman league want an answer.. as do Windsor & Eton pretty sharpish!!!!

I thought that in wexham parks lease that football had to be played there? so who's playing there next season?

Supposedly Mr Deaner is doing this to force the hand of the Thorne's into letting him get the lease for it for next year surely? By taking away the football club from the site, there is not much point in it being there without Slough Town Football Club on it.

But how much damage would this do in Football terms...

 

We want Wexham Park First, if the matter is out of our hands then Windsor must be the next best !

Considering how much debt Chelsea are in at present, how could they possibly afford what in effect would be a training site for them?

Right, for a start Chelsea can [censored] off i aint havin that Foreign lot at the end of my road,Gary we all want Wexham park more than anything in the World but you cant complain about moving to windsor if thats our only option,anyway its only down the road,just be greatful it aint bloody Harrow!

worrying thing is, chelsea reserves would get a big support at wexham park, like it or not.

My fear is that once we are out of Wexham Park, we will never return to the borough, with the club in its present format

A new club has to formed by supporters, start from the bottom and work our way up

I agree with rebel yell - this is getting too close to the line and in danger of the club being wiped out.

 

Why is there no news about the groundshare when the deadline date has passed? Why is everything being left to the meeting on the 10th when it is too late for anything to be done? Why are loyal fans being wound up like this? I don't think the club "management£" give a toss about the "burger-eating supporter monkeys" as they see us. What chance is there of returning to Slough when we all know that if the club goes into an out of Slough groundshare the che club will slowly die, Who will even play for us next season - Sammy? Booty? Barras? Daley? They will all be able to do better for themselves at clubs with a future.

 

How sad that a club with such proud traditions should come to this where the supporters don't have a clue whether there will be a club next season or not, or even if the present owners and management care two hoots about that. If they do then they have a strange way of showing it. No news, a manager who we don't know if he has resigned or not, an owner who we don't know if he can afford to carry on financially or not, a ground owner who we don't know if he actually wants football played on a foot ball ground or not and a council who apparently has so little civic pride they don't care if a club with the history of Slough dies or not. The best supported club for miles and it looks as if it is being deliberately killed off by people who could do something to help but won't.

 

So go on those who know something - prove me wrong!
