Yeah I went to the first night at Wembley when Liam started calling Wembley a s..thole. You wasn't the girl who got her breasts out was you?

I went to the first night at Finsbury Park and got absolutely soaked and then elbowed in the ribs moshing to Hello.

As for BHN and SOTSOG how can people diss them when you've got great songs like Gas Panic and Fade in/out on them?

The best Oasis gig and still my best EVER gig was in Sheffield arena in about 95 when pulp played as the support, It all went dark, A voice boomed out we are THE VERVE and out came Pulp instead and went for it followed by anhour and a half of full blown Oasis in their prime.

What a total difference. Wembley was a bright hot sunny day and Finsbury Park was freezing torrential rain surrounded by a bunch of nutcase cockneys and Mancunians. Agree that Finsbury was a better gig, Liam's voice sound much better at Finsbury.

Agreed. Bald Eagle you are so lucky to have seen Oasis in their prime. I would have loved to have gone to an Oasis gig during the 94-96 period but I was too young and my Mum wouldn't let me

Oh well, I got to see them eventually and they were worth the wait!

I wished I had seen them at Southend, Cliffs Pavillion in 95 (Live by the Sea video) That's basically just down the road from me but I couldn't get tickets. Doubt there'll ever play the Cliffs again.

Ah yes, the Prodigy-saw them at Reading and they were quality! Top 5 gigs:

1. Oasis-Finsbury Park 2001

2.The Libertines-The London Astoria 2003

3. Oasis-Wembley Stadium (I forget the date-was it 1999?)

4.Ash-Reading 2002

5. George Harrison Tribute gig-RHA 2002(just for the fact I got to see Macca and Ringo in the flesh-how many 18year olds can say that!)

Oasis Wembley Stadium was 2000 and Finsbury Park was 2002.

Yeah 2000 was the year I left Uni. I've got that gig on video and CD as well.

Like Noel's acoustic slot on Live By the Sea. The version of Sad Song is great.

hahaha I beat you, I have that gig on cd, video AND dvd! That Sad Song track is on the Japanese release of 'Slide Away' along with the warchild version of 'Fade Away' which is just amazing apart from that Lisa Moorish singing on it

Anyway, I'm tired from all the excitement of my birthday (which is almost over) so I'm gonna go to bed now. Good night all! Sweet dreams!

Unfortunately I do not own a DVD player. I've heard the warchild version of Fade Away and it's alot different from the original.

Time to go before I piss off all the non Oasis fans out there!

I loved Oasis too when i was at school, as well as Take That, East 17, MN8, boyzone (they were great wern't they?!!!), westlife, blue, and thats the just the begining of it all!!!

No, really, i do love Oasis, and i went to their concert in '98 at Earls Court and was in the standing area and got right to the front! Liam was ohhh so gorgeous!!

I too have all their albums, and their best song, in my opinion, has gotta be Cigs and alcohol!!

I've seen Oasis three times - Knebworth '96, Wembley Arena '97, and Finsbury Park '02.

I had tickets to see them in Paris in 1996 too, but it was around the time Liam had one of his strops in America, and walked out of the tour claiming he needed time to buy a house!!

The Oasis interviews over the years have just got to be the funniest. There's a great site - Mad Ferrit - which has printed out a lot of these interviews, and I've got a couple of mags at home with a lot of them in. Liam and Noel make such a great comedy double act.

I very much like Standing On The Shoulder.., but it's certainly not in the same league as the first two. Unfortunately, they were victims of their own success.

Be Here Now was one of the best albums of '97, SOTSOG of 2000, and Heathen Chemistry of 2002, but because they're not as good as 'old' Oasis, the albums just get slated. If they were by anyone else, the media would love 'em.

Heathen Chemistry, for me, is their third best album. Now Liam's started songwriting, they're finding a bit of a new dimension. Born On A Different Cloud and Better Man were absolutely quality!!

Chubbhead - if I can be arsed to wade through the cupboard at the back of my bedroom tonight, and go through all my free tapes that came with various music magazines in the mid-90's, I may just have a small present for you on Saturday. (Think 'vinyl extra track' )

Woooh hoo! I'm guessing at Bonhead's Bank Holiday?!

C.Hart, I remember MN8! They were a bit rubbish though! The song I remember most is ''I've got a little something for yer...nananananana....and I'll give you just 3 guesses to figure out just what it is''. sSo catchy I still remember some of the words
