Napier University Edinburgh-it's really nice, but quite cold. It's got loads of Costas though so I can transfer up there and have a job while I look for a better one.I'm a abit scared of some Scot hearing my accent and beating me up though. I'm going in 2004 which means I'll still be there for the next world cup-I don't think I can handle being there at that time surrounded by Jocks!

You should be alright in Edinburgh, it's Glasgow you've got to be worried about. If you're ever in Glasgow it's best not to wear blue, green or orange and don't ask for a Guiness in a Loyalist pub, better still just avoid Glasgow!!

It's not that, it's the whole Celtic/Rangers thing. It's not just about football it's about religion. My cousin walked into a loyalist bar with his hair dyed green about a week before the Old Firm game and he got told politely to leave. He didn't know what they were going on about! I think the Scots and the Irish are OK with each other. Just say you support St. Albans and they should be OK with that unless EFM have wound up any Scottish people lately!

That's allright then. Main reason I chose Edinburgh to go to Uni? Men with Scottish accents! I'm sure the Claire and Helen will agree with me on this one. Scots accent is only second to Rep.Of Ireland. But of the English accent is sexy too! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

OK then!! Most people choose universities on academic excellence, you choose a uni in Scotland because you like men with Scottish accents.

 

I chose University of East London because it had a good bar and cheap beer.
