2 months to late we had virtally a first team out and won easily,defended well all game and took our chances when they arrived,must say that is easily the worst oxford side i have seen,we did play well for the first 25 of second half and killed them off.

well done on beating our reserves/cast offs.

looks like yours now,heard a rumour yesterday that northwoods ground may fail the inspection,would be funny but like i said only a rumour.

we were awesome yesterday...top notch...still a long way to go though...anything can happen...we aint taking anything for granted...

 

as to the stumps and their A grade...they probably haven't got the money to finish the work and when we were there a few weeks ago there was still a lot of work to do and a good few quid to be spent...i wouldn't be surprised if we did catch 'em you know....long shot but possible...but only one will go up if they fail anyway...we checked with topsy turvey and his gang...pity if it does happen they're a good team and a nice little club....

 

anyway...thats enough of that....so you got lucky yesterday...why are you boring us with the details...ha ha ha ha ha....

the fact is they are still our cast offs

most ,if not all just went there for the money and a few of them have already said they would still prefer to play for us but at this level money talks,most of this forums fans should know that.

last week when they beat us,at the end 4 of our former players were applauding our fans and when brian jones came on as sub he was applauded and his name shouted by us.
