Well done to you, but we're not out of things just yet, remember its been the smaller teams who have caused you some grief this season. A point at Thame followed by wins at Aveley, Harlow and Wivenhoe is possible, 10 points from 4 away matches would be a fantastic return. Lets see how it pans out

you are right of course....not much changed really on saturday but it was still a very satisfying win for us....as to wether Hemel recover or not ....hmmmm....that remains to be seen yet....

 

I thought that they were a bit to unruly on the pitch for their own good...another one sent off for needlessly kicking our central defender off the ball....right in front of the ref...crazy really...their chairman musy be pulling his hair out at the wages going out to suspended players if they carry on like that.....shame really....mostly nice people though...few nutters about as always.....

 

we played very...very well on saturday and in truth never looked in any trouble at all...if it wasn't for the dodgy penalty they were awarded they still wouldn't have scored yet....if we can keep that form for a few more games then things will start to stretch behind us...

 

as for you guys....we know you're still there....we wont get complacent dont worry....even after you draw at aveley we'll stilll be watching out for you...!!!... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Hemel are just to small in defence. The lean on players to try to win the ball, and attackers react. If the ref is of usual standard he only sees the retaliation so the attackers get frustrated. That leads to a simmering situation, which can come to the boil all too easily with a weak ref, so a player gets sent off.

Sorry to be such a wet blanket but facts are facts. And if it comes down to it and we need Marlow to beat you again in the penulitmate game of the season, you can expect a Barmy Army presence cheering on the fortunes of our Buckinghamshire neighbours.

Draw at Aveley? No chance. Once I've told the players I've been shopping at Lakeside they'll be off to find my motor and rip it off rather than get a draw against the Rebels. Of course I'll give them Roger Rabbit's numberplate instead of mine!

this wasn't that subtle I'm afraid to say Paul...the Hemel No 10 just hacked at our central defender (whose 6'3') after he'd beaten the Hemel player to a high ball....probably was all over him but that happens...it doesn't excuse what he did...right on the stroke of half time as well...so....

 

must admit...all credit to Hemel because they went about the second half looking for goals but they were never in it....the thing that came across was how much stronger we were.....we always had that extra edge and I always felt that we could go up a couple of gears if we had to....

 

great stuff.....no fun for us this mid-week so we'll be watching your aveley game I expect...now dont fcku that up will you......do try and keep up with us.....we're lonely up there on our own....!!!!..............ha ha ha ha
