RANT: Why Dartford is crap for non-football reasons:

1) I went to their B&Q before work this afternoon (as it is nearer to the station than the Gravesend one is). They are in the process of building a B&Q Warehouse next door to the existing store but the signs reassuringly declare 'until April 21 it's business as usual'. Hmmmm - SO WHY IS IT that when I discovered that what I required wasn't there I was told:

 

'well we are closing down'

WHAT DOES THE SIGN MEAN THEN?

 

'we won't be getting any more stock in'

WHY NOT? ALL YOU HAVE TO DO WHEN YOU CLOSE IS MOVE IT INTO THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR!!!

 

Obviously getting no where fast, I decided to utilise the remaining time in purchasing CM4 from somewhere in Dartford (save the missus getting it for my birthday!) Not a single shop had it / sold it. WHSmith had about 10 p.c. games in total, the game shops in the Priory shopping centre sell just console games.

NO WONDER PEOPLE SOD OFF TO BLUEWATER!

If you have a complaint about the new B&Q at Dartford please address it to the Architects , Super Daz !!

It's not the superstore that's the problem.

It's the lack of cohesion during transfer from one to the other.
