Have any of you seen the Observer today it says that some of our senior players want Browne to stay .This is an old trick by Browne, that we have seen before and I must say I hope it is not true.

Come on Roger, of course there are players who want Mr Browne to stay, after all he's imported his family and their friends into the squad. But I agree, it seems like our manager is resorting to the old trick, and the fact that no players have spoken out publically backing him since he said he'll walk says quite a lot.

According to the Observer, Browne has said that some players have expressed their disapointment that he is leaving at the end of the season.

Presumably others havn't.

Even for those who have, do they really mean it? After all its not too easy to say "Good Ridance" to his face, when he picks the team for the next few months.

Lets hope Browne doesn't fool himself again

Too right, they want him out now! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The only person I can think of that honestly wants him to stay is Ricky, and we're best shot of him as well. Also, the majority of players are happier training with Eddie and Gilkes rather than Browne.

Didn't they all get banned from speaking to the local press?

The observer in recent weeks have been largely factually incorrect for a lot of their comments and are regularly twisting a Chris Sliski quote in their favour. It seems Mr Chappel is just dirt digging to stir up as much crap as he can to get stories out. Maybe he'll learn one day.....

Yes Gary....another Observer scoop , (of their own making)

yes dirt diggers.....given up with them ! sorry to say...but not surprised.......

As quoted by me in the Observer last week , which was correctly comented ...Brown leaving ?? Quote ( I have heared this all before) well they you go another Red Herring........

Why can the Observer mount a save Slough Town FC campaign , ie try to raise our plight and the need for extra funds to enable us to continue......even if Martin Deaner is at the helm ....Why do they have a go when they know it takes thousends of pounds to just keep STFC going.....

Why don't they put an appeal out to channel the money to STSA and will continue our fighting fund going to help out when we are needed......no this is not good story........

WE NEED LOCAL HELP !!!

Cheers Chris <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
