Sees Town take on AFC Hornchurch at Bridge Avenue, kick off 19:45.

 

Both sides have first team games tomorrow evening, so it will be an interesting test of strength in depth. Plus of course the possibility of the return of Lee Smith. Nice of the League to lay on a local game for him!

And probably made more interesting by AFC Hornchurch's home defeat in the Ryman League Cup last night.

Peeling spuds is often the cartoon version.

 

In the comedy "It aint half hot mum" in the first episode a soldier was on jankers painting stones white.

Hasler appears to have played well but 'an unecessary handball' and a last minute defensive lapse seem to have cost Town dearly.

We were unlucky not to hold on for a point, especially after recovering a two goal defecit. There were strong showings from the 3 youngsters (Gordon Wallis, Paul Christodolou & Danny Healey) and the new acquisition from Ilford looks useful. Good to see Lee Smith back, even if my handwriting was interpreted as 'Lex'. Kind of suits him, though!

I noticed in the Table for capital League that Town have played most of their games away and not unlike their Firsts have been victors on 4 out of 5 away games.
