MUST SEE GAMES

BlueGate Alan

For those of you who may not know next Saturday the 1st team are playing the Reserves in a friendly. Should be worth going along. Then don't forget the following morning the U18's are taking on Ramsgate at 11am.

Be great if we could have a good turnout for both games.

Also does anyone know if first team prices will apply for this game or will they be at reserve prices. I think if they are at reserve prices we will beat Ramsgates attendance, that would be embarrasing for them. On a serious note it will be good to see as many Gate fans as possible turning up for this.

If it was £2 (reserve prices) fantastic value for you lucky local people

The club are rightly entitled to make some money to support the club.

Boxing day was just a rehearsal-this is the real battle of Thanet between the Islands top two sides-Margate and Margate reserves

Kick-off is at midday Michael. Now I can go to see BOTH Thanet games one after the other.
It's my choice to visit Ramsgate after & at any other time might I add & I apologise not for doing so.
They are in our league & it is of an interest to me at least,to see another match in that league involving two of our main rivals & conveniently its just up the road too.
Before anyone says anything it dosen't make me any less a Margate fan & supporter for going there occasionally than it it does for those that wont go there at all.
Yep,Margate at midday & then off to Deadwood for 3 o'clock for me.
Just to add that had the Margate game been a 3 o'clock k.o,on this occasion, that would have been my first choice.

It says so in the local today Alan.

Quote

"Margate are without a game on Saturday, with scheduled opponents AFC Wimbledon in F.A.Trophy action"

"Instead the "Blues" will face their own reserve side at Hartsdown Park in a NOON KICK-OFF"!

Good point though about it not being confirmed on the official page.Maybe that will come later.

Have heard quite a few say they are going to watch. Personally after watching what you laughingly(i hope you were) call football at Hartsdown on boxing day, i don't know how they can.
