We deserved the win today, and was very pleased with all our new boys. Goodfellow was cool and calm at the back and I was really impressed with him.

Happy new year indeed to see Jimmy back, but also good to see Macca on the pitch again. And super Rob scoring.

maybe not too surprised he was not in starting eleven-frankly imo he may find that a challenge this season- but unless injured/ill-surprised he was not a sub.

Ref was consistant as previously said but consistantly poor. His only saving grace was that he did not flash cards around like some would and relied instead on a telling off

A superb performance from us yesterday although in the opening 10 minutes it looked as if we would be suffering a heavy defeat, but as some have already said when we got going we started to play some good football, which lets be honest we haven't seen for a while. Why was our football better today the previous times? It was better because we kept the ball on the field and were creating options and helping eachother out.

 

Hopefully we can keep this up for future games, as it would be great to have a bit of consistancy.

Agree it was a good game with three points well deserved by the team.

 

I was just disappointed with the crowd being as low as 366. Considering the bumper Boxing Day attendance we had I thought that more may would have returned. But hopefully an improvement in performances consistantly will start to bring people back.
