Can't see there being too many changes from the Grays team, apart from McPhee.

LD might also bring back McCarthy to make the team thus:

Cronin

Hawkins Smith McCarthy Opinel

Ricketts Bostwick Barratt Long

Moore Akinde.

The other option is to leave McCarthy on the bench, play Ricketts at full back and Nade on right wing.

I shall watch the BBC text commentary from afar with bated breath.

I would start with Coleman, but LD rarelyr fails to surprise with team selection.

Actually, MY preferred team would be

Cronin

Ricketts Smith Hawkins Opinel

Coleman Barratt Long Purcell

Moore Akinde.

Tough on Bostwick, but this team offers even more attacking options against a team, which on paper at least, can be beaten as they are low on form and confidence.

Oh dear Gary, have you and Liam had a lovers tiff resulting in him not taking your advice today? Akinde hasn't scored in a week, I suppose you want him dropped now then?

Didnt think we played anything like as well as we did against Grays - fortunately, we benefitted from a lucky break of the ball after just 2 minutes, albeit that Stacy's finish was again excellent, and this allowed us to generally look in control in the first half. That said, Weymouth's poor finishing was a big factor in our ability to remain ahead with what appeared from the other end to be 2 or 3 bad misses.

Another confident finish from Stacy and a good header from Chukki had then made the game safe by half time and the second half was poor until Weymouth pulled one back. Even then, it was really only the last 10 minutes where we began to start playing again, culminating with Bossy's excellent strike.

Weymouth fans are saying their keeper could have saved both Stacy's goals - I just think Stacy was too good for him on the first -then the keeper seemed to anticipate Stacy going across him again for the second & Stacy realised and put it the other side of him.

Stacy deservedly got our player of the match aware for scoring the first 2 and crossing for the third, but Lance in particular deserves credit for 2 or 3 saves as well.

Incidentally, I thought the ref was whistle happy today as well & that didnt help the flow of the game either. Quite how he deemed Akinde's shoulder to shoulder challenge on the Weymouth keeper in the first half, to be a foul, I'll never know - it would have left John a great chance to score & even the keeper was laughing about it afterwards, so clearly knew how lucky he'd been.

Anyway, lets hope we keep the run going at Dorchester next Saturday & make it 6 wins from 7 to see us into the last 16 of the Trophy. It will be a togh game, but if we play to our ability, its one we will hopefully come through.
