Enfield Town vs. Wingate & Finchley

What are people's predictions for tomorrow's game? I can't decide whether to anticipate a comfortable victory, or a very tough game. Obviously we had a resounding beating at their place, but they appear to be a very inconsistent side (I know, we can be too), and one that I'm sure you will agree we should be beating if we play to our potential - so I will not be mentioning defeat.

 

They have 3 ex-Town players in the form of Clarke, Nyman and Edmunds, and you would think that they will be well up for it to prove a point, but on the other hand we should also be wanting to avenge our lose at their place.

 

I say a 3-1 victory to the mighty Town!!

 

Out of interest, would any Towners who come on this forum be in the know, and able to indicate who is available and unavailable for the game tomorrow? For example, was Bryan suspended last Saturday and will he be back? I believe Andy Jones is suspended tomorrow? Is Rudi going to be fit? Are there any other injury problems or suspensions for the game? I assume Ticks is back?

Sticking with my 55 points by Aussie day and going for a Town victory.

 

BTW how does the suspension system work?

X Accumulated Yellows = ? match suspension

(In A-League 4 yellows = 1game..7 yellows = another game)

 

Is there a "gravity of offence' system?

A red for bad tackle = 1 game

A red for a punch = 2 games

History of suspensions sees longer suspensions.

As an aside I note that Rock Steady and The Hat seem to be closing the gap at a rapid rate.

 

PS Can't help boasting...hit the best 3 wood of my life on Thursday...in the rough 200 out..faded her in over a creek onto the green...putting for birdie...left it short...got the par.

A shame the other 101 shots weren't that good.

2nd shot - missed the ball completely. Tried again and decided to do some gardening instead of hitting the ball. 3rd attempt - hit the ball some 20 yards into the raging torrent(all right, the stream) All good fun.

Know how you feel, on the par 3 6th I had a 3ft putt for par, so convinced it was in I started to bend down to pick it out of the hole, it then done a 360 degree tour of the rim & come back to where id hit it from, causing much hilarity to The Hat!!
