He might well go for that. Sounds an interesting system, and one that could well work with the three strikers we have at our disposal. Surely Pinnock would be the man to 'support' Side and Rob though. I reckon RT will go with:

SCS

Smith Saunders Goodfellow Joseph

Side Morris Standen Quain

Haworth Pinnock

Coleman very close to the starting line-up, possibly in at right midfield if Charley isn't yet ready to start a game.

Quain, although he wasn't great against Ramsgate, will need games.

Question - Who added the phantom s on the end of Joseph? tongue

Remember we played 5-4-1 at the end of last season which was quite effective so think it could be:

 

SCS

 

Morris - Smith - Goodfellow - Saunders - Joseph

 

Side - Standen - Pinnock - Quain

 

Haworth

 

Or a diamond in midfield of

 

Standen

 

Side Quain

 

Pinnock
