How to get loyal fans influencing MYFC votes

I'm a to-be MYFC outsider in your club and have read this forum for around a month now. I'm hoping it will be a win long term for the club and fans.

Have you considered how to collect the views of the real Ebbsfleet fans for MYFC votes and post them so that when MYFC vote they can take your wishes into account?

There may be some issues like Torquay fans joining and throwing some red herrings around but if you created a spokesperson who you trust and feed your suggestions into them then maybe you can get around that?

I understand Liam Daish (ex Coventry smile ) will choose some options for each playing-related vote. Why not talk to the club about how to get your preferred option endorsed by you lot?

Surely the easiest way is to join it and make your opinions known there. Obviously that would be like selling your soul to the devil for some, but it's still cash going into the club at the end of the day (unless people are still all worried about where the £7 admin fee is going)...

Nah, we're queuing up patiently to slap them down.

Why is everyone so hell bent on the team selection. We pay Liam to do a job and a good one in my opinion. If 30,000 people who hadnt seen me do my job and no idea how to do it professionally suddenly told me what to do then when it goes tits up who am i going to blame?

Lets stick to voting on issues like roof repair , sponsor deals , shall we pay for travel the night before to a long distant away game.

If we tell Liam what team to play , will we be telling Peter which type of worm to use to get the turf airated properly or which spread ratio of horse crap to use when fertilising.

I see to remember somebody suggesting new sh!t manure fertilizing equipment for Peter, only a small step before they tell him what to put in it, and where to put it! blush

Riverview Supporter//Like it or not,but trying to get 27K+ people to sign up for getting the right to vote on fixing the roof or not wouldn´t have cut it.I think you can realise this, and you must see this in it´s right context.

The members picking the team is such a central part of MyFC and a main reason why 27K has signed up.There is no way around it whatsoever, and both MyFC members and traditional Fleet supporters must see things from boths angles so to speak.

MyFC members will pick the team.It cannot be changed since 27K people has signed up with those premenesis(spelling?).

You can bitch about it all you want, but it is like flogging a dead horse.

It will happen,it won´t have a significant impact on the teams performance.

That´s how it goes,basically.

I agree , it will happen and I also hope it will have little impact on the results and team selection.

I just feel that there are other issues which we can vote on that will have a better effect on th eteam performance ie the away travel for the team the night before and wether to fund it.

Some of these journeys particularly up to Northwich,Farsley etc..... are horrendous and I feel knackered whwn I get there. I dont know how the team must feel having to them put in 90 min hard work.

Is that the current number of paid up sheeple? I read there was over 50,000 registered so just over half have paid - not a bad return tbh.

An extra 4k since it was announced that Fleet were the intended team as well.

You must touch your forelock every time you meet one of the Saviours, and except everything they say, without question!

Well, I'm another of those MyFC demons, and I admit that I signed up initially because it sounded entertaining. However, I did go to the York game (by public transport from North Finchley in what could mildly be described as inclement weather), so I think it's fair to say that I do have some serious intent here. I'll make the trip again, too.

As for picking the team, yes it was a big incentive to sign up. That's the entertainment part, it has a feel of Fantasy football about it. Having said that, I for one am quite happy to be guided by Liam and his crew. After all, they are the ones that see the performances in training and know the players best. Now that I've got more involved with the club, it's more about what's best for the club, not what's most fun for me.

From the MyFC forums I think that there are a fair number of pragmatists that would also take the same approach. This isn't to say that we wouldn't make our choices known over time once we are more familiar with the squad etc.

Either way, getting the backing of however-many thousand football supporters can't be a bad thing, even if all it brings in is funding. I'll cite the footballs and goals as an example - take it as a goodwill gesture in anticipation. And no, I didn't donate to that collection - I missed the boat.

Have no issue with the new fans making the effort to see the Team. I have met many good folks from Myfc and shared a drink with them.Unfortunately it's the tossers who still come on here acting like charlie big balls. We heard it all before. It is now boring. Hey but that is my opinion.
