At Last! More than 2 seconds on BBC Radio Kent

I was privileged to hear ebbsfleet mentioned in the sport roundup and actually talking about purcell, moore and akinde and also an interview with daish about them. It certainly lasted more than 10seconds, but unfortunately, I cannot remember how long, due to the shock that the gills were not the main focus.

They went back to their old ways at the end of the piece, when giving the score for the game against grays as if it were of no interest.

Ah but were you in with Gillingham or the other side? I'm going to Huddersfield v Gillingham on the 12th, be in the home end not just because of the £5 student rate.

We ARE the best team in Kent. Charlton is in London, the borough of Greenwich I believe. Too many like to believe that they live in our glorious county, but they are fooling themselves!!
The biggest purpertrators of this crime are people from Bexley and Sidcup, both of whom always say they come from Kent and neither do. They should be hunted down and whipped to within an inch of their London borough dwelling lives

The clip Radio Kent used this morning was from my interview with Liam after Tuesday's game when he, rightly, urged local people to take notice of how well local lads John, George and Luke are doing.

I will be doing a piece on the RK Breakfast show sports bulletin tomorrow morning at 8.45 when Matt Cole and I will be looking ahead to Saturday's game and urging fans to come to the Weymouth match and set a new attendance record for the season.

On Saturday Matt will be doing commentary on the Weymouth game and I will be alongside him just as we were at Oxford.

Hope you enjoyed the Grays commentary.

As always! I think Greenie was finding it hard playing 'Second Fiddle'(but that's his rightful place anyway! wink )!
Ten bonus points, if you tell everyone that the Fleets success, is down to a diet of Prunes and Pomegranates............Makes them "run" faster! biglaugh

Dont Barnaby

My current plan is to accidently on purpose spill a high staining drink or sauce type item onto it rendering it useless other then for burning.

I would like it put on record though that this is a one off game that will not influence my participation in future fleet games either home or away. Though i may be doubtful for york away as i have a christening early followiung day and before anyone syas anything do not plan on travelling to wembley via london bridge departing 10:31 from Gravesend (picking up the train that started in Gillingham)if Gillingham are in the final.;-)
