Sadly I think that's a fair point - Beaconsfield isn't the kind of ground that a local resident could walk into off the street and it isn't really close to the station. It would be something to push if/when we get back to Slough.

Looking forward to the match Saturday, will make a nice change to see more than a handful of opposition fans so should be a good atmosphere. Hoping the weather holds off but forecast is rain Friday and Saturday frown

Just checking out directions to your ground. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere, will it be parking at the ground or directed to one of the surrounding fields?

Personally speaking I think we need to continually flood the town with posters and flyers - even if people don't come it reminds them/shows them that Slough has a football team. You can't advertise enough in my mind, and if people are willing to put the posters up is it such a problem to print some? Waiting to promote the club when/if we get back to Slough seems a bit short-sighted to me. I choose the Farnborough game, because there will be a few more people there and a good atmosphere.

Mind you Trents, the overflow car-park certaintly will be overflowing with mud if the games on so bring your wellies!

It'll be a shame if the rain causes the crowd to be lower than we're expecting (I'm hoping for around 350), as gate receipts are our main source of income. Just heard that ex-Rebel Byron (or Brian!) Bubb has joined Farnborough from Burnham. Our defence will have to be at their very best to stop Marcus Richardson and Byron Bubb up front for them!

Very Interesting that bubb has left Farnborough after what their goalkeeper told Some Windsor fans New Years Day. Apparently alot of players were unhappy he wanted the Windsor job over burnham and from the sounds of it 'lost' the dressing room when he didn't get the job!

However as it's Bubb perhaps he's gone just for the Money!
