True I dont think Clapton or Stansted will finish bottom.

Sawbo are struggling, but always capable of nicking points.

 

I can see it being between APSA, Mauritius or Basildon.

First wee story of the year for you all - there actually used to be a large Wooden Spoon handed out to the bottom club but the consensus of opinion was that it was so degrading it was stopped and as far as I am to believe it was last handed to George Whiting who was then secretary of Eton Manor at the end of the 90's having " won " it three times in five years ! George had been the Walthamstow Avenue equivalent for donkey's years before his tenure with the Manor. George moved to Norfolk many years ago and the Spoon disappeared in the ether of time .

 

It is not the intention of the League to try and find it but just to share this little tale to keep you amused at the start of 2008.
