I love the sequence for our second - shows it really was Craig's, we couldn't quite tell from the right of the goal... Coops heads it on target and it's good but the keeper gets to it making a brilliant save until Craig bundles it in and scores the goal!

 

Although I guess you were as surprised by the wonder goal as everyone else was... you've got Terry congratulating Willo but not what for

I had just a few minutes earlier been in the right spot to capture Windsor & Eton's first goal but decided to have a wander round so was in the wrong place to photo that looping shot ( did he mean it or was it a fluke ?? my Dad sitting in the stand commented he knew exactly what he was doing if so fair play !! )

Willo is a really good player - not our fastest, but in skill/positioning among the best we've got. And he certainly had plenty of time to place the ball where he wanted, because no one thought it was a threat, he wasn't faced with any immediate tackle, and for sure we had no player anywhere near the far side of the area close enough to run for it.

 

So overall I think he must meant it as a goal but maybe didn't expect it to work... He's also a big lad so if he claims he was aiming for goal I absolutely won't disagree!

 

Of course we now want one of those every game. At least.

 

Afterthought - not so very unlike the way Ronaldinho beat Seaman... but hey, our guy doesn't even need a free kick!!
