that when all other leagues are playing that the Ryman league do not schedule matches on New Years Day. Surely another bank holiday match would boost gate figures for clubs. Especially this year falling on a Tuesday when most clubs play anyway

AFC Wimbledon and Hendon are playing tonight, but yeah I agree with you there. frown

I agree,albeit, 4 games in 10 days over Xmas is a bit tough going.

 

To me, sensible thing would be to play on new years day, but have no games on the saturday before boxing day (or use as a'volutary' catch up day for fixture congestion).
