Came back from 2-0 down against a very poor burnham side. Our first goal was a cracker.

 

If the Burnham number 4 reads this you got done! Big time!

I didn't think Burnham were so poor. About 15 corners to our 3, remember, and their first-time passing was better than ours. Plus Seb pulled off some good saves, and had to come out a lot; and they had another sure chance but passed to the offside player instead. We only had a few chances and Willo made his wonder goal from absolutely nothing.

I was very pleased to see us come back from 2 down instead of collapsing, though, and Seeds really had an excellent match all round - unlucky not to score with that header, too.

there'd have been no jokes from me if Burnham had won... she gets far too gloating. As it was she just said they obviously felt sorry for us.

I didn't comment since I was getting a lift back home at the time!

It was good to see a Windsor side compete with Burnham for a change.

 

Burnham seem to think its fine to kick the [****!!****] out of everyone else and then whinge like a bunch of girls when somebody does it back to them.

i found it quite funny when the burnham goalkeeper told us mudge really wanted the windsor job and because he didnt get it had made himself look a twat and has lost the support of the players!

Dave mudge said ages ago on the slough forum that he wasnt interested in the windsor job so you must be **** stiring

Dave Mudge told alot of windsor fans to their face that he was! So either that wasn't Dave Mudge or he realised he wasn't going to get the job and back tracked

well i was just relaying what the burnham goalie said and there was a fair few fans that heard to back me up on that. so if there is no truth in that then the goalie is **** stiring. so before accusing me maybe you should read the post more carefully.

and to be honest if you look at there recent results and the fact some key players are refusing to play i would say the goalie was telling the truth

It was common knowledge that Mudge wanted the job.

 

Anyway so what if he did, without sounding arrogant most manager's in Windsor's division would be interested in the job purely because of the budget they would get to work with.

 

Mudge has done a decent job on a limited budget at Burnham, its inevitable he will move on at some point in the future.

 

I didn't hear the keeper myself but if what he said is true than that’s a bit pathetic considering most of their squad would no doubt happily move on if they got offered the chance to go to a bigger club or got offered more money etc.

so how come you have a much bigger budget as your support seems to be the same, or do you have a lot of sponsorship

good to see Ryan Bird doing well again. was always potentially a great player when i went to school with him
