for money.New years day and no many non league matches to watch..ebbsfleet,thurrock,afc wimbledon. So we decide to go and watch our beloved local league club vs 4th from bottom Bristol Rovers.£ 22 to get in,£4.60 for a cheeseburger, hot chocolate and a mars bar,£ 3 for a match programme.Total £ 29.60 to see a poor game of football,no atmosphere, junkies and weird people to moan at about every SUFC player instead of encouraging them.1-0 to Bristol Rovers and simply the entertainement didn't match the money paid for it.Might be,I was spoiled when i work for them and didn't realize the money you have to pay to watch a div 2 league game. Now as a football lover you have two options:1)add a tenner on top of it and go to watch premiership football at Fulham or pick a good game at Conference or Ryman level and pay only half of it with change left in your pocket. As much as i like SUFC,paying that amount of money for what they offer is a little robbery..Up NL footie, all the way me son crazy

Agree Coachy....Southend were diabolical today and have been pretty much all season!

Sadly for me, they are my local team and I support them for that reason! I dont have it in me to be a plastic armchair fan of a Northern club!

Saying this though, The Prices are outrageous down at the `Hall. Add a couple of beers to the equation and your looking at a Forty Quid experience for little return! I went up to Doncaster On Saturday (Manor`s Day off), with travel, tickets, food, many beers I done a ton comfortably! Wan*kers!

Next week for example, FA Cup derby v Dagenham, why not make it kid for a quid and fill the stadium!!!

i have got to say that £ 6 (37% increase)since 2004 is a bit too much. They are still in the same division altough last year played in the championship. For the same amount of money you can get a ticket at Fulham to watch premiership matches! What can we say?it must be the current rate lads...to be honest it ain't that much different from a Conference game or a top ryman premier one.I have got a bit of neck ache... grinfeel sorry for gary mac donald... whistle
