Well of course we would, that would be our most obvious link to the fella, as it is, he lives in ramsgate which by chance happens to be in the Isle of Thanet.
Anyway im sure none of us would begrudge you holding him aloft, as a proud son of ramsgate... despite the fact he was born in Margate smile

maybe IS you should think of putting something on your own forum if you don`t think our complements to Kirk are good enough . This topic was started by a RAMS FAN and another RAMS FAN is spoiling it for him ie; you . AB is right you are a sad Prat . The lad is a credit to us all in Thanet so whats wrong with saying that IS .

Profuse apologies for daring to use the word 'Thanet' as opposed to the centre of the universe (Ramsgate). These sort of things happen when, like me, you're born in Leicester, move to Preston, and eventually settle in (yes!) Thanet.....or Cliftonville to be specific - which is close to Margate! Still, getting back to the purpose of this post, good luck once more, Kirk - will be looking out for you at 7.30pm onwards tonight now I know what you do!

 

PS - great banner in the window of his local (yes, I occasionally drive into Ramsgate, when I remember my passport).

 

PPS - who is Ian Sanderson, and what does he do?!

Ian Sanderson - a very dangerous individual. Avoid if possible. A sort of "RamsgateMick" with an Honours Degree.

 

CB - You seem to be unaware of the number of players who have plied their trade with both clubs. Jimmy Briscoe, Bryan Clifton to name but two. You may like to pop-in to Les Riggs Sports in Northdown Road and ask the owner of that establishment about his management days at Ramsgate and Margate. (I wouldn't rule out Ward taking over at Hartsdown)
