Hullbridge Sports Under-18 Football Club:

 

 

Youth Football

Winners of the league last season as the under-16 team, they also won the three cup competitions that they entered. The Hullbridge youngsters took the under-18 County Cup, the Eastern Junior Alliance League Champion Cup and the Champion League Winners Cup. Winning the treble is a great, but also a rare, achievement.

 

 

Well done class of 2002! Does anyone knows any of the players playing for that u'18s side or are you one of them.We would like to hear from you

dont you keep records coach? i assume they were the boys who meet blackburn in the FA youth cup?

Are you sure that the year is right Coachy...Do you mean 2000! Think Richard is spot on there!

 

That year Our Successfull U/18 Side Won the Eastern Junior Alliance League ahead of Canvey Island, Score (Southend United), Hornchurch that year!

 

Then we successfully won the Cup against Whitton in a penalty shoot-out success!

 

Finally we won the Champions of Champions trohy where the winners of each region competed to find an overall Eastern Alliance Winner. We beat Bishop Stortford, Ford United and Ipswich Wanderers!

 

Also that season, we reached the 3rd round Proper of the FA Youth cup defeating a very strong Hornchurch, Cheshunt and Stevenage (Managed by ex Necastle Malcolm Allen) amongst others!
