We met some Arsenal fans in Burger King last night. Must have been late teens. Three of them. And right twats.

They asked us (me and Thornsy) what team we supported, and we told them "St Albans City".

Their 'leader' turned round and laughed, "St Albans are crap. Arsenal would beat them".

Really? You don't say. Well you're really sticking your neck out there, aren't you??

6-2 last time, wasn't it? Sol Campbell messed up a left footed clearance and from all of 25 yards Turns hit one, on the volley, which flew past Baaaardsen. Fantastic.

Fair enouh. You get morons around, unfortunately.

Why were you in Kings Cross?

And more importantly, the question arises...

Was that the only Spurs friendly we had?

Ah, Robbie Haworth in that shirt. I still remember how, reading the Match magazine pull out guide to Arsenal's double in 97-98, how the squad player profiles pages had a picture of the crappest player ever to grace an Arsenal shirt, Gilles Grimandi, battling it out with old Robbie in that very same kit. City, in a national football magazine. Fantastic it was. Tears formed.
