Horshams goal (video)

Must say, looking at the video,it looks like Scott should have had that.Good strike but he had ample time to shoot & it was straight at Scott.Should have gone down as an o.g..

Bad header out & no-one out on the left marking the scorer. It looks to me like it was a very soft goal to give away.

Maybe I am John. Maybe the ball was screaming at him with such speed that it did catch him off guard.I see he was well inside the area too.I took note of that. But face or no face he's there to do a job & to prevent the ball going in. I look at that clip & I call that "flapping" & I would expect a keeper to stop those.

Okay,I wasn't there & maybe I would have taken a different view on it had I seen it "live" but I do agree with you that he seemed to have too much time & space to tee up in the first place.

Looked at it in slow motion. Was a well taken goal but Scott was half way down to the floor when he got his hands to it. Had he been on his feet for a fraction longer I think he would have saved it. At the end of the day it started from a bad header and was a well taken goal though.

At the game, whilst down bottom end, it looked unstoppable-but having seen the video-yes SCS definately should have done better and beforehand, thats where we missed RT as he would have powered the unchallenged clearance header away from nothing more than a lob into the area -not softly headed it across the penalty area- and before that-why did the two players (for the first time in the game )-have so much space on the left at the corner ; so frankly-three mistakes ,and another avoidable goal conceded

Boxing day goals v Ramsgate.

Not easy to see clearly the offence that led to the penalty looking at that video.Original infringement not shown. All you see is Peters/Martin going to ground AFTER the actual incident.Impossible to make a decision looking at the clip.
