Trusting that it is correct-good news.

 

Pity it will be a while before we see Goodfellow and Young together-that could be a good pairing

 

6 months too late to sign a central defender ,but in fairness to RT 90% of his signings have been good ones-to my mind and memory only Chris Wild was a poor one -and one more recent signing i am very doubtful about.

 

Wish we knew lengths of contracts-if RT is building for next season-all well and good.

 

If RT keeps them together during summer then could be good next season-too much ground to make up this season i am afraid,but my expectations were not better than 8th for this season anyway,so can't really complain;excepting the frustration of knowing it could have been better.

 

From a squad angle, despite the injuries, we do now seem to have a strong (and large ) overall squad (will a couple have to leave to balance the budget).

 

I just hope we don't see an exodus during the summer and RT has to start all over again.Its taken him to now to get a balanced squad.Just hope it does not evaporate just as quickly as` i really feel it will work out well next season (we may even get a decent cup run !)

I think Chris Wild was signed after about 1 or 2 games at the begging of last season so, unfortunatley it would make it a RT signing.

No doubt Jeff would put us right on this matter.

No, Chris Wild was signed by Robin after impressing in a pre-season friendly. CK signed James Donovan though.

Anyway, to his credit, i think the point is that overall RT seems to make good signings.

 

Unfortunately, the timing of his signings is the issue i think he needs to address.

Hopefully, we now at long last have a reasonably balanced squad;with something akin to a defence
