And Charlie is on the bench so things might be looking up injury-wise. Looks like we have been under the cosh though.

A very good performance from Margate against a very decent team. Don't be misled by the scoreline.

On the plus, Charlie back on the pitch looking hungry and sharp. Ricardo again very good. Team playing very well for each other and battling hard. Jay Returns. Entertaining game.

On the minus, ran out of burgers after queuing for 15 minutes, did not use the width and played very narrow, in the first half seemed reluctant to shoot, Trotty got injured.

If they had scored in the first half would have said fair enough, but we were so on top in the second and deserved to get something from the game.

Oh and please MFC mortgage your grannies or anything and let us keep Peters.

Thanks June.I heard from the ground via phone from a couple of sources that we were on top for most of that second half. 95% was what I was told.Maybe a little exaggeration perhaps but judging by your comments, not far out. What a shame they couldn't get something from the game.Still, good to hear that Charlie & Jay are back & that the team gave a good account of themselves.

For my money, a draw would have been the "right" result. But they didn't look as comfortable at the back when French replaced Helmsley. Good to see Charley back and thank goodness Jay's back, particularly if Robin is going to be out. Great mid-field two-handed "save" by Simon Austin that went un-noticed by the ref in the second half! But as they say in France, "that's life".

It is difficult to be positive after any defeat BUT, today we did play well in the second half. As Wellsie said overall a draw would have been a fair result and the ref (to my reconklection) only booked 1 player and that was dissent. However, how Horsham 3 stayed on the pitch was beyond me (expect JW to sign him for TOTS next week).

The boys did good and deserve some congratulations for thier effoert and commitment today.
