Is that what I'm doing, I don't think so. Anyway I thought you were on my side, I was just beginning to warm to you.

I wish I was DIK...virtual is for guys like you on forums.....sadly I have to do the real walk as well as the talk...its called having a football club to run and make sure that everything from the pitch to the turnstyles to the dressing rooms to the kits to the bollox that we all know and love is attended to each week...that usually includes getting my pockets picked as well...

try it sometime...come and work with me for a day or two....

I'll stand you a virtual fry up....grin

All SSML games appear to be going ahead this afternoon which is great news, even Haringey Borough v Harefield United is on.

I'm assuming there are no postponements this evening other than Tring Athltic v Hoddesdon Reserves, I take it Kentish Town v Hanwell Town is on

Probably helped that they'd switched it to KLT (?)... though that rain the night before impacted a fair few games in this area - strange that some refs appeared to take the 'run for cover' option and abandon a few at or just after HT - was fairly certain the match I was at was 'going under' but both sides and the officials, ploughed on without complaint which was nice to see. I was seriously questioning my own sanity during a first half 'horizontal shower' ....

... I see KT are due to play two 'home' games next MW w/c 9th - Monday [Hertford] & Wednesday [Tring A] (though they appear to have this Saturday off?)

... any discussions ongoing whether either/both of these might be at Copthall?

99.9% certain I won't be allowed out two nights in a row anyhow - and I'm (obviously) busy on Tue night.

I think KT have a free Saturday purely because there is now an odd number of teams in the Division since the demise of Berkhamsted. I know Hertford have a free Saturday on the 21st March exactly for this reason.

... true - though of course whoever was due to play Chalfont St P. would also be due a Saturday off wouldn't they?

Looks as if Tring Ath. are also without a game - couldn't they have got it together with KT a bit sharpish, and moved the Wed game to the Sat to ease the MW load?

S'pose that would have meant KT playing Sat & Mon - unless they wanted to disrupt Hertford too? tongue

...can see why I gave up a career in PM & admin many years ago! crazy

Royals26 - Tring's Reserves are at home on Saturday so the game with Kentish Town couldn't have been played there and I expect the Copthall Stadium is currently unplayable infact is the Pope Catholic.

Royals26 - Further to my earlier post I find this a strange comment to make as if Kentish Town are doing Kingsbury London Tigers a huge favour by playing at Silver Jubilee Park, would you agree.

... wouldn't like to comment one way or the other (fence-sitter extraordinaire!) BUT I'm very glad I asked the question. [thanks for the answer, nellie]

I needn't bother trying to get to the KT v Tring game and I see the Hertford game on Monday has been switched/moved to Hertingfordbury Pk on Mitoo too (and I've been there!)

no problem royals26.

Let me explain Rhodes, we have made an arrangement with the venue on Wednesday night and why would we want to let them down when they might have been able to book something else but probably not at such short notice. I think we did the right thing and kept our arrangements.

At no point I have I or would i mention how much is being paid for the hire of Silver Jubilee Park and did not feel it was right to cancel an arrangement that had already been confirmed.

i am sure Kentish Town will play games at the Copthall Stadium again this season.

That is a typical post of yours that makes no sense what so ever.

Look at it this way Rhodes - We need all the points we can get so the less games we switch to 'away' home games the better, after all who want's to come to London on Thursdays when most of this league is played Tue/Wed.

He was just a puppet though wasn't he, the Manager had his arm up his back at all times, like Keith Harris and Orville, so what was the point of staying.
