So you couldn't work your magic today then, the Club must be worried sick with so many home games piled up and with the grim prospect of paying

Rhodes-(brimo v welwyn) the referee called the game off and went before the other 2 officials even got there...the referees words were 'its soft on top but hard underneath there for its dangerous' and when someone asked what the flip u on about he said its a different kind of hard, im guessing that this bloke got his ref badge for xmas coz we was s##t when we had him earlier in the season as well so how he is still refereeing saturday football i dont know!! he got his money and run like the wind guess he wanted to hit the sales!!

Incidentally, I understand that one of the linesmen, namely Mr Wilson, had just pulled into the Goldsdown Road car park when his mobile rang informing him that the game had been called off, I assume that the other, Mr Weedon, was close by. Very unsatisfactory indeed!

Although it hasn't been put on Football Mitoo by Horace as yet I have it on good authority that Haringey Borough v Tring Athletic is off today, there was some rain last night but I'm amazed it was sufficient to cause the game to be called off. The Club don't lift a finger to address the problematic pitch issue despite coining it in from the lucrative weekend market at Coles Park.

Royals26 - It's disgusting really that Haringey Borough can't sort their pitch out, it's as if they can't be bothered whereas they could quite easily get funding to address the issue. The neighbouring Ward of Noel Park where I now live has just received over 500k for various projects and the White Hart Lane Ward have large funding sources at their disposal that can be tapped into, because the White Hart Lane Community Centre (formerly New River) and Spurs know what they're doing and have insiders in the Council they get all the money. Also Haringey aren't the slightest bit interested in working with the Community which doesn't help, if they worked with the Council rather than against them it would be a licence to print money.
